Bit Side Table’s special construction creates a solid and stable structure.

Bit Table and Bit Side Table is based on the principle of a sandwich construction where a thin layer is trapped between two thick boards of solid oak, to make a strong and satisfying structure. 

The Bit Table was designed by Chris Marin in 2012 and is an architectural piece that works as a table or an elegant base for a lamp, vase or sculpture.

Chris Martin

After working as an assistant in Jasper Morrison’s studio in London, British designer Chris Martin left the UK and moved to Stockholm, where he worked as a freelance designer for IKEA and met Swedish designer Magnus Elebäck. In 2009, the pair joined forces to establish Massproductions – a furniture company that prides itself on producing “high quality, tactile furniture in a modernist spirit”.
