In this ongoing series, we’re giving you a glimpse into the minds of the people who make District what it is. We ask our team members to share their personal product picks, from the pieces they’d bring into their own home to the designs they’d recommend for others.
Plus, they’ve shared the product story from the many we have that has stuck!
Product you would have at home?
Such a hard question, as I want everything! My top 3 picks would be the Palette Console, Gummy Lounge and Puffy Sofa by Faye Toogood. She can do no wrong! Oooh and the Souffle Mirror by La Manufacture! :)
Product you would put in someone else’s home?
Milky Way Floor-to-ceiling Column light – because WOW! There’s just nothing like it!
Story that has stuck?
It has to be the Allie Stool by La Manufacture. The story has always stood out to me. Luca Nichetto designed it based on a memory of his Nonna always waiting for him with her hands on her hips. That little detail is captured perfectly in the stool. The curved handles imitate the way her hands were always placed when yelling at him to come in for dinner. It’s one of those pieces that’s not just beautiful to look at, but also carries a really special, personal story.
