Conversations at District: Mattiazzi

Series One
Around the Table with Mattiazzi

'It's a very honest brand that cares about quality, detail and design...'

- Cristina Salvati, Mattiazzi

Set across four days and three cities, District embarked on the first of a series of conversations with our most admired and trusted brand partners.
We couldn't dream of a more perfect start than with esteemed Italian furniture house Mattiazzi, who have been refining and exceeding expectations in wooden furniture craftsmanship for over forty years.

What started as a family business now lures internationally renowned designers, creating award-winning and admired products. From the Bouroullec brothers, to Jasper Morrison, and Konstantin Grcic, Mattiazzi's design collaborators are considered beloved design relatives - and high-profile ones at that.  The Mattiazzi community is bound by creative strength, persistence, and beauty in design.

Complete with Italian fare, these Conversations at District saw founder Nevio Mattiazzi, and sales director Cristina Salvati share tales of the company's passions and productions, almost transporting us to the Northern Italian factory. The intimate setting facilitated both frivolities and humbling insights into the considered works of the Mattiazzi company, from enduring environmental innovations to the fastidious attention to detail that elevates Mattiazzi's projects.

Thank you so much to our special guests from Mattiazzi, and to those of you who joined our intimate occasion.
For those who were unable to join us, we hope to welcome you next time.  Be sure to look out for news of our next instalment of Conversations at District soon.
